Red and White Day!

You've seen advertisements on the school screens. Students have been handing out flyers to you. You feel it in the air... it can all only mean one thing... RED and WHITE DAY is THIS WEDNESDAY!

What's so special about the celebration of these two colors on November 14th? Well, red and white day occurs twice a year and it's purpose is to promote some fun along with school spirit around campus while bringing the school together! In honor of red and white day some great activities and deals can be found around campus. I don't want any of you to miss out all the great stuff going on, so here's some information below:

On top of the activities, some vendors on campus will be selling items on SALE for the day:

Bookstore: 25% off all red and white clothing and gift ware
Tait McKensie: 10% off select items
Absinthe Pub: FREE can of pop with any lunch if your sporting red and white clothing
Country Style: $1 for rose's pudding cookies
Michealangelo's: 15% off on entrees
Orange Snail: $7 for fried chicken with avocado salad
Blumont: 10% off anything
Mac Sushi: 10% off anything
Gino's Pizza: 10% off any combo meal order
Islands Caribbean: 1/4lb chicken and 2 festivals for $4 +hst
Jimmy the Greek: 10% off any menu item
Underground: 15% off food from 11a-6p
Armark Cafeterias: $4.99 for lasagna, garlic bread, and a red/white cupcake
York has also invited some food trucks, so check them out around campus and maybe get some unique food items!

Best in Class Competition
Take a picture of you and your class sporting Red and White, for a chance to win FREE coffee for the whole class! For more information on rules and how to submit a picture click here.

Team Spirit Competition 
Any group of students can compete for a chance to win a free pizza lunch! You gotta show some spirit in order to win though. This competition involves banner decorating, picture, cheering, and celebrating! For more information on all the aspects of the competition and how to enter click here. The team of students at Student Community and Leadership Development are entering this competition!
